in ten minutes i'm going to start preparing for one of those annoying photo shoots that come with dance. my costume's pretty though, cream colored and very sheer, embroidered with gold thread and it's a one shoulder strap deal. pretty nice.
for the next few hours though i'll be in various positions posing for the camera with the rest of my girls, fixing makeup, pinning flowers in hair, etc etc etc. it just seems like a waste of time. so much hassle for a few photographs. the photographer screaming "smile!" and "don't wrinkle the backdrop girls!"
what else? oh yes:
" a little to the left." "now a little to the right"
"tilt your head a bit that way"
"the angle of your arm isn't right"
"SMILE!!"
the best part about all this is that i can wave to people in the next car when i'm driving to the studio with my fire-engine red lips, black rimmed eyes, hectic red circles on my cheeks and of coarse the great goddess/gypsy dress.
if this post seemd sorta lame it's cause i only blogged because angel and joelle were complaining that i didn't blog enough.
tip of the day: always drink water during a shoot. the lights are hot. BUT don't smudge the lipstick.
